B.C.  Gordon Rankin – The Devil is working overtime here in Cranbrook.  He has attacked the church and our family.  Some of the church family left with hurt feelings about things they want to have control over but can’t.  We must stand strong on God’s Word and not change no matter what happens.  I refuse to take any other stand and stay strong on the Bible.  But as you all know God will not give us anything we cannot handle.  Sometimes He purges and prunes us to help us grow.     As we see our support drop, we know finances are very weak in most of your areas and we know this must be a burden on your hearts.  Please continue to pray for Jo and Samantha as they grow in the Lord.   Please keep me in prayer as I fell on the ice and broke my right hand.  The Lord blessed and we found another building to rent.  This will save us a great deal of money every month.  Until the Shout keep serving Him.

Serbia-Ondrej Franka – The Lord is doing great things in spite of the difficult political situation in Serbia and the recent self-proclamation of Kosovo’s independence.  Last Saturday the government of Serbia fell and parliament has been dismantled, bringing a lot of uncertainty into our lives.  Last weekend , as you prayed, we had over 60 leaders from Baptist Churches in Serbia .  The leaders have proposed the vision, goals and strategy for the whole denomination to be presented on the Annual Conference, which will be the first Conference of this type in the history of Serbia.  This will be held on April 5-6 2008.  Please pray now for that important date as it will be a cornerstone for good things to come in Serbia. Then on April 7 we are praying for an appointment with the President of Serbia, Mr. Boris Tadic to talk to him about the status of evangelical churches and their recognition as a Church.  As you know, a recently passed law does not recognize evangelicals as the Church but as a sect, cult and occult.  Also pray for radio  Novi Sad  30 minute interview with Ondrej to be aired on Tuesday next week. It is evangelistic message is about the meaning of Christ’s resurrection.

ABC Prison Ministry – Jack Harmon -   Jack is our missionary to the Macomb County Jails and has been ministering there for about 10 years.  He goes weekly and ministers to 5 to 10 inmates.  He has been instrumental in leading hundreds of inmates to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
